Digital Schools Network Contribute and host an activity*

To promote a sustainable community that connects, collaborates, learns and shares experiences and resources, partners and members will agree and abide by the following Principles and Code of Conduct when hosting proposed activities.

The design and conduct of the Digital Schools Network activities will be underpinned by the following Principles:

  1. The activity is offered to all members at no cost when hosted within the Digital Schools Network
  2. The activity is designed to connect, collaborate, learn and share with members of the network, by leveraging the secure digital collaboration platform of Cisco Webex
  3. The activity will contribute to the showcasing of best in class learning content, best practices and promoting “next practice” in teaching and learning, and in digital transformation in education
  4. The activity will promote excellence in the use of technology, and recognises that schools with different levels of maturity are welcome
  5. Information shared and provided by activity host, Cisco and its partners are provided in good faith
  6. The activity welcomes and promotes diversity within and across schools
  7. The activity should encourage debate and challenge as well as encouragement
  8. The activity can help remove equity barriers and enhance engagement opportunities for administrators, educators, students and industry

The activity host agrees to the following Code of Conduct:

  • Be respectful of all participants and to use appropriate language at all times
  • Respect the privacy of information and perspectives shared before, during or after the activity
  • Seek permission prior to directly involving participants in any part or whole of the activity
  • Seek permission as bound by the respective School’s Administration Policy when involving students in activities in Digital Schools Network
  • Not share commercially sensitive material information among and outside the network
  • Not use the network to promote their own commercial interests or those of their partners

Cisco Systems Inc, as moderator of the network reserves the right, at any time in consultation with its partners to expel or withdraw membership of participants should they deem not to comply with these guiding principles or engage in activities that are illegal, uncompliant and disruptive.

*Please note this program is available only to schools in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, India, and Singapore.
