All the activities listed below are contributed by Cisco and our Digital Schools Network partners as benefits of the program and are open to all approved Digital Schools Network members to register and participate. All activities will be conducted live and virtually over Cisco Webex and members will be added to the activity space upon registering via the links below. Seats are limited so please register early.

Global Goals Challenge is a three-day challenge-based workshop that engages students from Learning Futures Network and Innovative Schools Consortium member institutions to engage in an intensive design process to identify and suggest solutions to problems related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Student participation is facilitated by a hosting teacher and an experienced educator from Curtin University and includes mentoring opportunities with experts from academia, industry, community and cultural organisations. This can also be accompanied by a teacher professional learning event around managing open-ended challenge-based enquiry connected to curriculum outcomes and the development of learner capabilities. Hosted by a member school with invitations extended to other schools.
Automation is not just another “flavor of the month” but the future of our industry. Industrial customers are increasing realizing the importance of digitization to compete and stay relevant in today’s business environment. Digitization involves connecting thousands of sensors and devices to the network, extracting and processing key operational data. It’s essential to make sure they are secure and exploring these considerations tend to make such endeavors both expensive and time consuming.Only DSN member can register for an activity. We are taking digital skilling up a notch to focus on professional development with the Cisco Connected Educator, a program that equips educators with high-quality collaboration tools to use as they foster innovation and creativity in today's digital classrooms and across the education network.
If offers a range of badges for teachers, administrators and content providers who use Cisco technologies to augment teaching and learning, build new content and enhance administrative management. In collaboration with Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration (CILC), badges are aligned to International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) standards.

Webex Teams will be the central platform where the network will stay connected and where virtual activities will run on. In order to participate in the Digital Schools Network, it is important that members download Webex Teams (available on desktop, iOS and Android).
